Play as Shinji, member of the occult club from the Asu Gakuen school.

After a summoning gone terribly wrong, all of the club member have been turned into shogi pieces! It's up to Shinji to save them and defeat the (evil?) spirit of Takeda, an ancient shogi master.

Level up your pieces, equip them with essences and upgrade them to defeat your opponent in strategic battles. Beware of the unpredictable chicken piece though, for it can ruin your day in a single move!

How to play:

During exploration:
Use WASD or Arrows to move,
I to open your inventory,
TAB to toggle the minimap,
Escape to open the settings menu,
N to consult the notes you collected.

In battle :
Click on an allied piece to display its range of movement and attack. Click on an empty square to move to it and automatically attack all the enemies in range.

Alternatively, you can use the keyboard:
1-5: Select ally 
WASD: move selected ally to an empty square
SPACE: attack without moving
TAB: Cycle through all the opponents to display their info and range of attack.
